Paper Corsage made for Mom to be!
Paper corsage made from unbleached coffee filters. Also sprayed some Mr. Huey's white paint on to give it a soft look. I used some Melissa Frances crape paper ribbon as well. Good luck trying your own.

Fall is Here!
Fall is my favorite season of the year. I love as summer winds down and the air takes on a certain smell announcing cooler temps are coming. One of the great things for us is the sunflowers. Beautiful flowers planted by seed much earlier and nurtured and grown to perfection. Enjoy your Fall!

Prima "Almanac" Card
Fall is upon us and I, for one, am so excited! My favorite time of the year. I made this card for one of my DIL's birthday. Warm browns with accents of papertrey inks melon berry. Paper is Almanac by Prima. I use 6x6 paper pads for my cards. The scale is perfect size for cards measuring 4.75 in. X 5.5 in. Folded in half. Ladybug chip tile is also by Prima.

Gratitude Journal in Peach Sherbet!
I love gratitude journals, especially mini's! This one is made of papers from MME. Peach/melon berry and pale aqua/sea mist. 16 pages in all with Tim Holtz Mini paper clips and larger paper clips. Lots of journaling room inside front and back of pages with an assortment of different papers. Also, a small piece of chip tile with a vintage look typewriter. A mixture of ribbons on the jump ring holding it all together. Makes a great gift for someone who loves to journal or record their life memories. Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

New Deck Lantern
My sweet hubby brought this as a surprise on Friday. I had admired them at my Harris Teeter grocery store and had mentioned it in passing to him. Being the awesome man he is he bought me one. I love it. The hydrangea is from our yard and the pretty blue bottle I picked up for $1.00 at our local Christmas Tree Shop today! Thanks for stopping by for a bit.

Do you Love a Bit of Whimsy?
I happen to love a bit of whimsy, myself. Tinker bell, Alice in Wonderland, anything that inspires my imagination. Faeries of all types are another bit of whimsy I enjoy. I love several lines of the Prima paper collections as they inspire my love of all things whimsy. Recently my DH made me a tree face in the front yard. I can see it right out of my Kraft korner on the second floor of our home. I enjoy seeing it as it reminds me of the trees in Wizard of Oz! I see it and a part of me thinks that just maybe, deep in the night, the yard is filled with dancing trees and sweet mischievous Faeries. Enjoy your day and weekend. Keep an eye out for a bit of wonder!

Extreme Wear Nail Enamel
Happy Friday! Hope you are ready for your weekend. I wanted to tell you about a product I tried this week. Extreme Wear nail enamel from Sally Hansen. I have tried a number of nail polishes in different price ranges. I was searching for a certain color that had been discontinued by a major competitor. In my quest to find the color I bought several different bottles, finding none that I liked. I saw a bottle in the Sally Hansen display at Target that looked like the color I wanted. I bought it at a cost of $2.99. To my amazement this is the best nail polish I have ever used. It stays on! It is a gel like consistency and it's a bit hard to put on but it's worth it for the time you can wear without chips. Disclaimer: I have no connection to Sally Hansen nor am I receiving any monetary gain from this post. Give it a try. It's worth it and so are you!
Awesome Durable Nail Polish
I have a product review today for you. Disclaimer: I do not have any connection with this company. Every once in a while a great product comes along. I bought and used the Sally Hansen Extreme Wear nail polish. It is amazing. My cost at Target was $2.99. I have bought every kind of nail polish made. I spent a number of years with acrylic nails. About a year ago I let the acrylics grow off and have been trying different polishes. Expensive mostly. I saw the Extreme Wear in Target and thought, why not? It is a gel like polish that is a little hard to use. But let me tell you it lasts. I am hard on my hands and therefore my polish wears badly. I love this one. Give it a try. I also use a vase coat and my fav top coat Out the Door from Sally's. Let me know what you think if you try some!

More Kreative Goodies
Greetings from North Carolina! I have 3 more cards for you today. I love the pastel colors in two of these cards. I seem to be addicted to London Market, by Pink Paislee, and Pixie Glen, by Prima. Soft, sherbert colors just soothe the soul. Quiet colors. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by.

First rose of the year!
It's a beautiful spring day in North Carolina. A bit on the chilly side but warmer temps arrive this weekend. This rose bloom is the first of the year. The bloom is quite large and is named "Abracadabra"! Very appropriate, don't you think? Have a spectacular weekend wherever you are!

Easter Blessings
I do hope everyone has a blessed Easter or Passover. The plate pictured in my picture was hand painted, many years ago, by a childhood friend of mine. Last year she gave me this piece of her work for me to have and enjoy. I was so happy as I have always loved her pieces. China painting is a lost art. I chose this yellow rose of "Texas" plate to compliment my table, but also to have a small bit of her here with me. We are miles apart but close in heart. Happy Easter!

Shabby Chandelier card
I cannot say enough about the new London Market papers. They really are so shabby! Love this look with a bit of glitter. Tim Holtz stamp in the background is a great layered element. Have a great weekend!

Steampunk Lion Tag
I spent some time in my Kraft korner challenging myself to try making some things that are outside my normal kreative style. I recently bought some K &Co. stickers and embellishments marked down at Michaels. Great price, great products. This sticker was one of the few I purchased. This tag has the Steampunk flavor, I believe. I adore the dark, rich colors with a bit of stickles. This Lion reminds me a bit of the lion in Narnia. Such a great movie and story. Thanks to you for stopping by for a bit. The weekend is near and hope yours is filled with fun and family. Kolleen
